Thedan Phoenix

Finished the Thedan Phoenix. :3 I am very happy with how this turned out.

This guy’s name is Nov, and in my headcanon Thedas, he is something of a semi-sentient pet at Skyhold. He lacks any tail feathers, so he was unable to successfully find a mate among his own kind. The other males picked on him, giving him all those scars, and eventually he was exiled from his flock. Being a lonely social animal caused him to be quite friendly with any other creatures willing to be around him, and thus he found a home at Skyhold. Nov can be quite scrappy when he needs to be.
