Coloration:  This species typically has a skin base color of any shade of orange to brown. They are also characterized by thick white stripes that are often lined by thinner stripes of black.

Anatomical Specialties: This species is well adapted for its amphibious lifestyle. They have long, flexible tails lined on their dorsal and ventral sides by stiff membranes. They undulate their tails to swim, and can help direct themselves with their membrane-line limbs. When they are out of the water, they stand on their powerful hind legs, and they have forelimbs that are adept at manipulating objects and shaping the world around themselves.

Development/Breeding: Oceanpeople have live young, which are cared for by their entire pod. Senses: This species has a very sensitive sense of hearing, and they are known to echolocate in order to hunt and navigate through the oceans. They can see in detail, but they only see a very limited range of the color spectrum, and their sense of smell and taste is very dull. Finally, this species has a very sensitive sense of touch, which plays an important role in their social connections.

Similar to the Kyrst, they are very protective of the natural elements of their planet, and they take only want they need from their planet. All Oceanpeople are wary of leaving their homeworld, and for those who do explore the greater universe, they believe that if they die while away from home, their bodies must be returned or their souls will be doomed to wander space for eternity.

Culture: The culture of this species, similar to that of the Kyrst and Korach, centers on their pods and families. However, they are a peaceful species, and most pods maintain close relationships with their neighbors.
